The 30th September was the end of the CJRS scheme. This scheme has been a huge support for clients but also had a massive impact on the workload of the Payroll team who have been amazing during this challenging time. We have until 14 October to submit the final claims to HMRC which our Tax Team have helped us with. A great example of different departments working together.
In addition, HMRC have ceased the SSP coronavirus rebate scheme as of the same date. This will mean that there is further loss of funding for our clients.
We are now looking forward to having time to implement some new policies and procedures in the Team as well as continuing our in-house training sessions. The next session is in relation to the new Health & Social Care Levy which is being introduced from April 21.
