We are a growing firm and always on the lookout for dynamic individuals. If you are keen, self-motivated and value working in a collaborative and supportive environment then DSG may be the place for you to start or further your career.

We our proud of our friendly and inclusive culture and our core values of honesty, integrity and a dedication to client service. Join us and be part of a team committed to making DSG the firm of choice in Liverpool and North Wales.

In addition to graduate entrants, we also welcome applications from those who have decided to follow a career path rather than heading off to University.  We typically recruit into our Business Accounts team but may also have vacancies in our Tax and Trust teams as well as office administration.

Typically, an accounts apprentice joining after school or college will study AAT and achieve the level 4 qualification within approximately 36 months of joining.  This may provide an opportunity to go on and study a higher qualification such as the ICAEW ACA or ACCA, which would be studied as a level 7 Apprenticeship – the highest level available and the same as studied by our graduate entrants.

If you would be interested in an apprenticeship with DSG, then please send your CV and a brief covering letter to applications@dsg.uk.com

Further information on the AAT based apprenticeship can be found at www.aat.org.uk/apprenticeships

Our graduate training programme guarantees our trainees ‘invaluable, hands-on, practical experience’ with a range of different clients. You’ll combine this practical experience with studying towards either the ICAEW, ACCA or CTA qualification via the Level 7 Accountancy Professional apprenticeship.

Whilst a strong academic record is desirable, we also welcome applications from those who have experienced something different in life; whether it be through volunteering, part-time work, the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, team sports or other activities where you can demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, co-operation and a ‘can-do attitude’.

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to participate in an assessment day typically held in July of each year and which provides a mix of interview, aptitude and workplace assessments.

If you are interested in applying for a graduate position please email your CV accompanied by a short covering letter explaining why you want to work for DSG to applications@dsg.uk.com. Please note that applications for our graduate scheme typically close on 30 June of each year.

If you’re currently working in practice but are looking for a new challenge, or considering returning to work then DSG could be the next step in your career. You’re  an experienced, client focused professional who enjoys the variety of working with entrepreneurial businesses across a range of industry sectors and will thrive at a firm which values teamwork, inclusivity and commitment.  We offer a competitive rewards package and are supportive of flexible working requirements.

When you join DSG we’ll take time to understand your aspirations and work with you to develop a clear career progression plan, providing a framework for your personal and professional development. Working at one of the largest accountancy firms in the North West you’ll have plenty of opportunity to broaden your career horizons and experience both within your own department or by moving between teams.
